In Russia, a group of street artists collaborated to create a spectacular optical illusion that looks like Photoshop but in real life. Titled CTRL+X, the real-world illusion is a reference to a keyboard common in Photoshop that deletes a section from an image.
The artists created the clever illusion by covering the dumpster and car with white paint. Then, they projected a pattern onto the objects from a specific angle from which one is intended to view the scene. The artists then used the projection as a guide to masking off the white checkers with tape. Everything else was then spray-painted gray.
